The big event of this day is that since Elaine had the day off, she stayed home with N & J while Jeremy and I ran a L-O-N-G list of relatively short/easy errands for about four hours this afternoon. It was a GREAT WEATHER day, so the children were much happier to spend that time playing outside rather than driving and hopping in-and-out of the car.
Jeremy and I coached Justus to a win! against Natasha in a game of Battleship this evening. He is just learning, and Natasha will be SO THRILLED when he can play it with her by himself! :) (Maybe then she'll win; she told me tonight that in all the times she's played that game she's never won! Hm.)
Okay, these videos posted in backward order compared to what I expected so if you wish to watch them in the order in which they were taken, start at the bottom. [Edit note: In checking how the videos uploaded I'm disappointed that at least our computer isn't playing them to their ends, and the timing between the sound and the picture is off by about 3 seconds! GR. Oh well, even if they aren't playing quite perfectly at least they can give you the idea....]
This is Jabba chasing his tail; he dependably chases his tail every time we close him in the bathroom with us (for potty/chewing prevention).
This is Jabba RACING through the upstairs. Jabba RACES numerous times per day. His favorite spots to RACE are around the dining room/living room downstairs, while closed in the bathroom/walk-in closet, and from the family room into the master bedroom and back. Hold onto your britches on this one. I tried to pan back and forth, a little so you can get a good feel for what he's doing. Ohmygoodnes.... lol
This is Jabba chewing on his bone chew-toy during the Battleship game.

It wouldn't play the last EIGHT seconds of the videos for me today. What a great dog and the toilet paper-roll characters - VERY creative.
